Earn an officer’s commission in just two years in our elite ROTC program.

rotc-female-cadets-ms3If you’re serious about an Army career, you can earn an officer’s commission in just two years at Wentworth Military College.

Wentworth is one of just five school nationwide that offers this opportunity. You’ll get first-class officer training in our Army ROTC program, providing you with the foundation for a successful career.

Graduates of our ROTC program have a distinguished service record. They have risen to the highest ranks of Army leadership, attaining ranks as high as major general.

Wentworth’s Army ROTC program enables you to:

Become an officer in just two years.

Under our Early Commissioning Program (ECP), you can earn your commission as a 2nd Lieutenant upon completing our two-year ROTC program and earning an associate’s degree. Find out how you can meet the eligibility requirements for the Early Commissioning Program.

Distinguish yourself in specialized military training programs.

Because Wentworth’s ROTC program has a national reputation for excellence, our cadets are frequently admitted to special training programs such as the airborne school, air assault school, mountain warfare, cultural and language immersion, and cadet field training.

Earn a ROTC scholarship.

Wentworth offers ROTC scholarships to about two in three qualified applicants, more than twice the national rate. These scholarships cover tuition and fees, while providing you with a $450 monthly stipend—and Wentworth covers room and board for all ROTC cadets, so you’ll save even more money.

Build your resume and your bank account through the SMP Program.

You’ll complete our ROTC program while simultaneously serving in the Army National Guard or Army Reserve as a nondeployable cadet. You’ll earn approximately $350 a month for your service, while adding training and field exercises to your resume.

Train with distinguished ROTC faculty.

Wentworth’s ROTC instructors combine extensive classroom expertise with many years of service at all levels of officer and enlisted roles.

ROTC training will strengthen you for every challenge, in and out of the military.

In addition to offering superior preparation for an Army career, our ROTC program provides a top-notch education that provides you with the tools to complete a bachelor’s degree at any college in the country.

Wentworth’s ROTC graduates have gained admission to military academies such as Georgia Military Academy, the U.S. Air Force Academy, Virginia Military Institute, and Norwich University, as well as civilian institutions such as the University of Missouri, University of Kansas, Texas A&M, and Iowa State University.
