Wentworth Promotions

During the opening of the school year in-service meeting on August 4, 2014, COL Michael Lierman, President of Wentworth Military Academy and College, recognized and promoted the following faculty and staff from Captain to Major.

Dan Grosso has been a part of the teaching and coaching staff at Wentworth for ten years. He teaches math at the high school and college levels.

Don McEwen has been a teacher and coach at Wentworth for 22 years. He teaches a variety of courses at the college level, including business, history and public speaking.

Scott Nelson has been a college instructor for 16 years, teaching philosophy, religion and Russian courses .

Sharon Bayne has been an integral part of the business service department for 21 years. She is responsible for accounts payable and payroll for the school.

Brent Zweifel has been with the school for 7 years and was recently assigned to the position of College Online Coordinator. Prior to his new assignment, Brent taught computer science courses.

Marnie Morgan-Oetting joined Wentworth in July and has been appointed to the position of Director of Alumni Relations. Her duties include alumni relations, fundraising and grant writing.

Cindy Howard was also promoted to Major earlier in the summer. Cindy has been employed in the financial aid department for ten years. She recently accepted the position of Financial Aid Director.

Each employee was presented their pin and a certificate as COL Lierman stated, “Having placed a special trust and confidence in the loyalty, professionalism, and commitment of Captain, you are hereby promoted to Major within the staff and faculty of Wentworth Military Academy and College.”

COL Lierman further stated, “It is an honor to work with such a great group of faculty and staff as we have at Wentworth. Each of them has special talents and working together they are all part of the team! I look forward to many more years of service from each of them as they teach, mentor and guide the cadets/students.”

Wentworth Military Academy and College is a private co-educational military high school and two-year college.
